Veranda Chase is a 116-acre mixed-use development located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This mixed-use development includes a total of 140 townhomes in two different townhome communities, a total of 574 apartments in two separate and distinct apartment communities, a public elementary school, 32,000 square feet of retail space in three individual shopping centers, a medical office building, a bank, and a convenience store. Veranda Chase Apartments, named for its expansive balconies and patios, consist of 250 Class “A” apartment homes. The community features a clubhouse with a business center and a fitness center with cardio and strength training areas, a resort-style swimming pool, tennis courts, and a large children’s playground. Roberts Properties’ community design also created numerous pocket parks and green spaces providing residents with private wooded views, in addition to an extensive network of nature trails along beautiful streams.
The Veranda Chase mixed-use development includes two separate and distinct townhome communities with different architectural styles totaling 140 townhomes. The 40-townhome Carrington Park community is pictured above and the 100-townhome Waverly community is shown below. The Shoppes at Veranda Chase includes 32,000 square feet of retail space providing consumer conveniences such as two hair salons, a barber shop, an electronics repair store, two locally owned and operated restaurants, a local market, and a convenience store.
Roberts Properties’ first public/private partnership resulted in the Kanoheda Elementary School becoming the initial component of the Veranda Chase mixed-use development. The Kanoheda Elementary School serves 997 students in Grades K through 5 and has an excellent student-to-teacher ratio of 1 teacher for every 13.2 students, which is the 7th best ratio out of the 78 elementary schools in Gwinnett County.
Addison Place is a 114 acre mixed-use development located in Johns Creek, Georgia. This mixed-use development includes an 81 home single-family subdivision, a total of 248 townhomes in three separate and distinct townhome communities, a 285-unit apartment community, 81,579 square feet of retail space in three individual shopping centers, and a Fulton County regional library. Addison Place Apartments consist of 285 Class “A” apartment homes including a clubhouse which features a dedicated business center, conference room, fitness center with distinct cardio and strength training areas, men’s and women’s saunas, and a separate activity room. Additional amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, tennis courts and a large children’s playground. In addition, Roberts Properties designed the community to provide its residents with picturesque views of the community’s unique water features. Addison Place Townhomes consist of 118 two-story, two and three bedroom townhomes ranging from 1,497 to 1,903 square feet. Each townhome has its own private patio and the community’s residents enjoy full access to the Addison Place clubhouse and its vast array of amenities.
The Shoppes at Addison Place is anchored by a stand-alone Bonefish Grill and a CVS Pharmacy. Roberts Properties sold the outparcels to each of these national retailers. However, it retained architectural controls and approval rights to ensure the overall aesthetics of the finished buildings would maintain the high quality standards of and serve to complement the overall mixed-use development. The Shoppes of Addison Place also includes more than 44,000 square feet of locally owned and operated businesses providing consumer conveniences and goods unique to the community in a pedestrian-friendly, open-air environment. In addition, the Addison Place mixed-use development contains a day care center and a nationally acclaimed swim center that has produced several Olympic Gold Medalists and features three Olympic size competition swimming pools.
The Dr. Robert E. Fulton Regional Library is also part of the Addison Place mixed-use development. Dr. Fulton, a long-term Fulton County Commissioner approached Mr. Roberts and asked Roberts Properties to forge a public/private partnership with Fulton County in order to provide the surrounding Ocee community with a much needed public library. Mr. Roberts agreed and created the architectural design for the library building. In addition, Roberts Properties provided in-kind donations for the grading of the library site and the construction of the access road, as well as a cash donation for library books and the artwork for the library atrium in order to bridge the county budget shortfall for the completion and opening of the library.
Roberts Properties created a mixed - use community with 20,303 sqft of retail space with a 30,000 sqft office building and a 90 unit Townhome Community right off of Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell, Georiga
Crestmark is a 42-acre mixed-use development located in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This mixed-use development includes a 334-unit apartment community, which was constructed in two phases, a nature preserve, two medical office buildings totaling 40,000 square feet, a 91-room Holiday Inn Express hotel, a retail shopping center, a daycare center, three restaurants, and a convenience store. Crestmark Apartments consist of 334 Class “A” apartment homes, including a two-story clubhouse featuring a dedicated business center, conference room, and fitness center with distinct cardio and strength training areas. Additional amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, tennis courts, and a large children’s playground. Roberts Properties also created a nature preserve on the adjacent property that provides jogging paths and walking trails for the Crestmark residents use and enjoyment.
The restaurants within the Crestmark mixed-use development include national brands such as McDonald's and Chick-fil-A, as well as two locally owned and operated restaurants. The Crestmark mixed-use development with its landmark Clock Tower also contains 40,000 square feet of medical office space. These two medical office buildings house West Cobb Medical Associates, the Tulman Eye Group, and the Douglas Women’s Center. Another complimentary use is the Herrington Academy Day Care and Learning Center which provides onsite childcare services for the residents and tenants of the Crestmark mixed-use development.The Holiday Inn Express at Crestmark is a 91-room limited service hotel, which provides convenient onsite lodging for Crestmark's office tenants, as well as customers for the restaurants throughout the Crestmark mixed-use development.
Ballantyne is a 2,000-acre master-planned community located in Charlotte, North Carolina and is owned by the Harris Family. This community contains more than 4,000,000 square feet of Class “A” office space, the four-star Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge, more than 2,000,000 square feet of retail space, 10 apartment communities, and a multitude of single-family subdivisions. Based on Roberts Properties’ reputation for high quality development, the Harris Family invited Roberts Properties to create an apartment community to be part of Ballantyne Commons East, a 150,981 square foot Harris Teeter anchored shopping center. Roberts Properties developed Ballantyne Place consisting of 319 Class “A” apartment homes. Ballantyne Place includes a clubhouse featuring a dedicated business center, fitness center with distinct cardio and strength training areas, men’s and women’s saunas, and a separate activity room, as well as a resort-style swimming pool, tennis courts, a large playground, and two lakes. We designed the community to include numerous pocket parks and green spaces to provide the residents with exceptional views of the community’s distinctive water features.
